In 2022, Ake Arts and Book Festival hosted the 2nd Conference of the Global Association of Literary Festivals on 22-23 November. Participants flew into Nigeria from Turkey, United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana, Australia, United States, Norway, Kenya, Portugal, Botswana. The conference featured eight panel discussions, one workshop and several other activities.
