LIFI

Newly introduced by Book Buzz Foundation, Lagos International Festival of Illustrations (LIFI) which will take place at OUIDA, Lagos State, Nigeria on 18-20 September 2025. This timely event will together 9 international illustrators and 45 Nigerian illustrators for three days of learning new ideas and exploring the power of illustrations in storytelling, representation, and cultural expression.

Through a programme of workshops, panel discussions, live demonstrations and portfolio clinics, emerging illustrators can receive feedback from professionals and explore commercial opportunities.

LIFI is designed to ignite creativity, build skills, and foster global exchange. Given its focus on artistic illustration for children’s books, LIFI addresses the urgent need to train a new generation of Nigerian illustrators.
