Introduction
The Kaduna Book & Arts Festival (KABAFEST) is a four-day annual literary and cultural event held in Kaduna State, Nigeria. It serves as a platform to celebrate literature, art, and culture, bringing together writers, artists, intellectuals, and enthusiasts from northern Nigeria and beyond.
KABAFEST was founded in 2017 promote the cultural and literary heritage of the region, while fostering the love of books and literacy. The festival events includes fascinating book chats, stimulating panel discussions, riveting performances, art exhibitions, food tastings, film screenings, dance performances and school events. KABAFEST brings in over 60 guests annually from different part of the world.
This festival is funded by the Kaduna State government and a handful of supporters.
